1. Contribute to expanding research and teaching missions of the Department, through research and training.
2. Expected to be a world-renown leader in the field of perinatal-reproductive epidemiology, and with strong training and background in biostatistics – all applied to women’s health.
3. Expected to conduct etiologic research in his/her area of interest aligned to perinatal or reproductive epidemiology, as well as in comparative effectiveness and outcomes research, causal models and causal inference in women’s health.
4. Devote efforts to the development and applications of innovative epidemiologic methods.
5. Maintain an independent and successful research portfolio with adequate funding.
6. Facilitate departmental engagement in these areas with similar efforts within the medical school, the school of public health, and institutes and centers.
7. Conduct empirical research in perinatal and reproductive epidemiology, and to participate actively in teaching programs in this area.
8. Understands and adheres to Rutgers’ compliance standards as they appear in RBHS’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
