Job Description:
Supervise an assigned group of children (between the ages of eighteen months to ten years of age) each
day to insure that their physical, emotional, social and cognitive needs are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age and possess a H.S. diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid Infant and Child First Aid card or obtain within 3 months of employment.
• Must have a valid Common Childhood Communicable Disease card or obtain within 3 months of
employment
• Must have a valid Recognition and Prevention of Child Abuse card or obtain within 3 months of
employment.
• Shall not have any convictions of child abuse or crimes involving moral turpitude.
• Must have a fingerprint check by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII)
• An Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or 60 semester hours of Early
Childhood Education at the college level, or teaching experience working with young children in a child
care setting required.
