Job Description:
The Program Coordinator will work closely with the Director of the Tax Clinic in all aspects of administration, programming, and outreach functions for the Tax Clinic. This includes, but is not limited to, coordinating outreach efforts in the community; planning and implementing programming; assisting with administrative client intake functions; organizing outreach efforts by current students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/experience/licensing:
• Minimum of one year of administrative experience required
• Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, Access, Word, Power Point
• Willingness and ability to learn new web-based resources and instruct others
• Proficiency in locating internet resources and web-based information
• Occasional travel and irregular hours
• Must have valid driver’s license
Communication and other skills:
• Passion for economic justice
• Demonstrated interest for serving underprivileged communities
• Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with a diverse and wide range of people, including students and community organizations
• Exemplary professionalism in dealing with confidential information
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or experience in lieu of education
• Public interest practice or pro bono experience preferred
