Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator I for the School of Social Work. The Program Coordinator at the School of Social Work, Office of Student Affairs, provides exceptional support and customer service to prospective students and applicants to the Rutgers School of Social Work. This position also performs independent, confidential, professional work that requires extensive in-depth knowledge of the School of Social Work, the Master’s of Social Work Program, the MSW Intensive Weekend Program, Rutgers University and the School of Social Work’s practices and procedures
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Ensures accuracy while handling students records when handling student data, (both paper and electronic).
- Assesses and prioritizes the immediate needs of all stakeholders with patience, confidentiality and good judgement ensuring the right answer or point of contact is provided.
- Supports the daily functions of the office with an emphasis on communication, organization, record keeping and analysis, attention to detail, handling multiple projects, working independently and within a team, confidentiality, and a thorough knowledge of the School of Social Work.
