PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT/NURSE PRACTITIONER

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for direct patient care and for other administrative duties as designated by the Dean and/or designee. This position will have a primary assignment in endocrinology with cross training in family medicine as part of an on-campus primary care practice serving university staff and the general community. The Medical Director provides the overall direction for all patient care activities. NP or PA duties include, but are not limited to, providing medical services to patients, inclusive of all functions necessary to provide quality medical care, serving as an educational preceptor for the clinical staff including responding to questions/consultations of the staff, following medical protocols, handouts, and clinical standards.
