Part-Time Lecturers (Adjunct Faculty) in UX/UI Design for the Master’s Program in Information (Spring 2020)

The Department of Library and Information Science seeks part-time lecturers for its master’s program in Information who are experienced UX/UI designers with a passion for teaching students the skills to be UX/UI designers. Successful candidates should have expertise in the following areas:

User-Centric Design Research/Design Thinking:
Research practices;
Qualitative and quantitative;
User need identification;
Interview/focus group;
Contextual Inquiry;
Survey/questionnaire;
Personas/storyboarding/scenario; and
Affinity diagramming

Prototyping:
Sketching;
Storyboarding;
Journey map;
User flow diagrams;
Paper prototyping;
Wireframing;
Hi-fidelity prototyping; and
Rapid prototyping

User Interface Evaluation:
Heuristic metric creation;
Think aloud; and
Experimental design.
