The Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level to develop an innovative research program in areas of biology broadly related to the study of disease mechanisms, including research utilizing molecular genetics, microbiology, biochemistry, and/or structural biology. Departmental faculty are often jointly associated with the NJMS Center for Cell Signaling, Center for Immunity and Inflammation, Center for Emerging Pathogens, or the Public Health Research Center. The position will be supported by a competitive start-up package with exceptional candidates being considered for further support as Chancellor Scholars.
