Coral Aquarist Specialist

Under the direction of the Center for Marine and Environmental Studies (CMES) and the Virgin Islands Reef Response Director, the Coral Aquarist Specialist will provide technical support for coral reef restoration and coral reef ecological research activities and be an active member of the Virgin Islands Reef Response (VIRR) team within CMES. The Coral Aquarist Specialist is expected to work primarily on coral reef restoration projects aimed at the rearing of reef-building corals in the flow through sea water tables at the MacLean Marine Science Center and in field-based nurseries.  The Specialist will also provide support for scientific experiments that utilize the sea water tables and for other VIRR activities within the U.S. Virgin Islands territory.
