Co-Adjutant Instructor – STEM Prof Develp

Under the direction of the Associate Dean of the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program at Douglass Residential College, the co-adjutant instructor is responsible for teaching the STEM Professional Development with Industry Perspectives course for Douglass WiSE. The course is worth one-credit and is offered to STEM students at Douglass. This course provides professional development and mentoring of STEM students via a collaboration of Douglass Women in Science and Engineering and industry partners. Through workshops, seminars, site visits, and 1-1 mentoring, this course cultivates career readiness, confidence building, and self-advocacy in Douglass STEM students with perspectives from industry partners who support the advancement of women in professional work spaces.  The instructor must have a STEM background, have an intimate knowledge of career readiness topics, and be an advocate for the advancement of women in STEM.
