University of the Virgin IslandsWe are seeking a dynamic nursing faculty member who exemplifies professionalism, clinical expertise, innovation in teaching undergraduate nursing courses in pre-licensure nursing programs and has demonstrated scholarship, management, student advising, committee service and community engagement to join our team.
The successful candidates’ primary responsibilities will include teaching nursing courses across BSN curriculum (2019); advising students; and, working to implement the new SON Strategic Plan.
This post also requires the faculty member to support the development and use of simulation in clinical teaching; and; the development of nursing education programs which may include graduate nursing education. Opportunities for scholarly research are also available through our research centers: The Caribbean Exploratory Research Center (CERC) and the Eastern Caribbean Health Outcomes Research Network (ECHORN).
